Revealed: Bizarre Barcelona-Nike spat involving Robert Lewandowski & an upside down M

Barcelona’s relationship with Nike almost broke down, with it reported that a bizarre spat involving Robert Lewandowski played a small part in that.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

    It is being suggested that the Liga giants are ready to enter into a new deal with their kit suppliers, despite looking to break their current agreement at one stage. That partnership was on the verge of collapse, with Barca looking to take the sportswear giants to court.

    Their argument for terminating a manufacturing agreement involved a number of factors, including Nike’s failure to get new jerseys in stores a couple of years ago – leading to a reduction in sales. That is, however, not the only grievance that the Blaugrana have aired.
